One API for banks to push every credit into a council account to NECMAS, matched to the employer automatically.

Bank payment API

Banks send each credit to a council's account to a single signed API as it happens. NECMAS stores the message exactly as received, answers straight away with a receipt number, finds the council and the employer from the employer code, and records the payment.

Payments that cannot be matched are kept for council staff to allocate, so nothing a bank sends is lost. Banks get separate test and live keys and a full test environment before going live.
