Employer self-service portals

Each council's portal lets employers do the routine work themselves: register, keep company details up to date, upload employees from an Excel template and download their levy statements.

Payments go through Paynow and are converted and recorded on the employer's account automatically, so council staff no longer capture them by hand.

Logins are emailed to employers, with password reset by email, and staff can see who is using the portal.
